www.geeksundergrace.com/gaming/how-to-do-downloadable-content-dlc-correctly/ It's a long article lol but that's a good thing I completely agree with all the writers. We as gamers keep getting ripped off on our games and it needs to stop. The biggest culprit is destiny all the disc locked dlc we have to pay for is ridiculous. The solutions are very doable if the companies would stop being so greedy and wanting our money. The only company' that has done it right is Nintendo. I'm being completely serious I never realized just how right Nintendo is doing everything so I encourage a lot of you buy a Wii U get Wii U games and play your games the way gamers were meant to play them I'm very blessed and thankful that I now own a Wii U.

Yeah i totally agree. I never really noticed that Nintendo didn't have DLC. Either make a game fully stocked, with everything already built in, or just get out. The main reason Destiny gets a bad rap for DLC is Activision. Ever since they grabbed CoD, they've been greedy. Bungie could have just made it free updates. But Activision came in and put their greedy little hands on it.

Mario Kart has DLC for $20 for both packs, and Super Mario Bros. U has a stand alone DLC. Edit: Yeah, it does cover it in the article: @jay: I'd probably have to agree with disc-locked content and day-one dlc's as being negative. I do not however agree with the views on cosmetic DLC. I believe there should be some free cosmetic dlc, but not to the negation of those who want to pay for "premium cosmetics." I am strongly against DLC no matter how much is produced that costs the same price as the game itself. CoD is the perfect example, in my opinion, of overcharging for DLC despite it being a decent bit of content.
