I'll answer the following too, but I'm thinking about what my favorites are. Preference: Marvel, DC, or another? What's your favorite comic book? What era is it from? Do you have a favorite superhero comic? Explain What is your favorite superhero? Why? What is your favorite movie based off a comic? TV series?

Oh man, I will need some time to mull it over. I used to be a Marvel guy but now I'm definitely more DC thanks to Geoff Johns and his Green Lantern run. Will reply in a bit.

So firstly, I like any and all comics. Growing up I was mostly a Marvel guy, mainly the X books. I loved (and still love) Jim Lee's artwork so Uncanny X-Men, X-Men. X-Force, X-Factor etc, I was all over the books. I enjoyed the characters and really liked the struggles that the mutants faced in trying to live in a world that feared/didn't want them. My dad had a big collection of Batman comics though so I was also a Batman fan growing up, and still have his books. So basically I just like whatever is well written and has great artwork. I also like a good indie, though some of them feel the need to be full of profanity etc so I'm pretty picky.
Favorite comic ever, easy. Top Ten by Alan Moore. It takes place in a city where everyone and everything is either a super (super hero) or an alien, or scientific experiment or whatever. Pretty much everything has super powers of some sort. Top Ten is about the Tenth Precinct which is the police precinct in charge of the biggest and toughest cases in the city. It's a very emotional book and wonderfully illustrated. There are some mature themes, such as same sex attraction and a storyline involving older, iconic heroes that molested their wards but all in all it is amazing.
My favourite superhero comic other than Batman is probably Green Lantern. Geoff Johns has done such an amazing job evolving the Green Lantern Corps over the last decade and the introduction of yellow lanterns, red lanterns, even the black lanterns from Blackest Night are awesome. The characters are varied and interesting and the comic is just epic. The only one I really read on an ongoing basis still.
Favorite hero is probably Batman. I just always loved that there was this guy who was so focused and trained himself to be the greatest hero he could possibly be and vowed to wage the war that he wages. I'm mostly a fan of the 80s and early 90s Batman, which was a little gritty but still had some pretty off the wall villains and the bad guys in general weren't super psychotic. Of course Joker, killing Jason Todd changed things, and paralyzing Batgirl, which was a shock to me when I was a kid, but all in all I just love Batman. Just something about him. Runners up are probably Havok from the X-Men and Hawkman.
Favorite movie based off of a comic is probably Guardians of the Galaxy. Seriously, that movie was amazing. I loved every minute of it. I also really liked Winter Soldier quite a bit, also, Hellboy (i know i know). TV show is easy. Arrow. Been a fan since the first episode and am hoping to meet Stephen Amell in a couple weeks at Fan Expo.
